Be Careful ... There are lots of Instagram hacks and features in this post!

Just every time when Instagram updates add, there is a new tool or feature in the mix - but we do not always listen to them!

Although I call them Instagram hacks, it's really just for fun. The thing I am mentioning is that Instagram updates come to us thick and fast, and many features are located under our nose. We can not just feel that we can use them until someone shows us.

I’m showing you!

Now you can have the inside knowledge too with a whole bunch of Instagram hacks and features in this post. Let’s jump in and take a look at all Hidden Instagram Hacks and Features!

Turn On Post Notifications For Your Favorite Accounts

Found an account that you feel particularly motivated? Or maybe you follow a specific effector for tips on creating attractive content for your niche? With post notifications, you can assure that you never leave the posts of your favorite users.

Here's how to turn on post notifications for specific users/accounts:

Go to the user's profile
Click on 3 dots at the top of their profile.
Choose Turn on Post Notification

Encourage your followers to turn on post notifications for your account, especially if you have received big news (such as a live session or specific post, which you have seen).

If you really want to hack Instagram algorithm, then you should probably leave a comment on each new post of your favorite accounts. As long as your preferred account is relevant to your niche, you will see increasing engagement with your own profile. If your profile is large enough, you can end the "featured comment".

Rearrange The Order Of Your Filters When Posting

This might not seem very important, but it’s actually super handy when you’re trying to push out content quickly. Filters are a great way to add some life to your content, and even brand it in a certain way.

Here’s how to always have your most-used filters handy:

Start posting a new picture or video.
Go to Filter, scroll to the end, and select Manage.
Drag and drop your filters in the order you like, then hit Done.
Remember that you can also remove filters that you don’t use. This helps clean up space when posting, keeping the process simple and fast.

Use Highlights To Make Stories Last Longer Than 24 Hours

As you probably know, Standard Instagram Stories are on your profile for 24 hours. But I think, a little more attention than some of your stories, is not it? This new Instagram hack, which is known as the Highlights feature, is perfect.

Here's how it works:

Visit your profile.
Under the Story Highlights tab, click on the + symbol.
Select the stories you want to highlight.
Name your highlights and choose a new cover image (optional).
Click Add to publish the new Story Highlight.
A new story will appear on your followers' feed for the next 24 hours. After that, the story will remain live on your profile permanently or until you delete it. To delete a Story Highlight, tap and hold the icon on your profile.

Find Out What Your Followers Are Commenting On

There’s been a lot of discussion surrounding Instagram’s updates to its algorithm, and how it affects user reach and influence. But never fear! There are ways to hack the Instagram algorithm so you can continue to take advantage of all the platform has to offer.

For instance, there’s a simple method to find the content your followers are engaging with on Instagram:

Click the Heart button at the bottom of your feed.
Tap the Following tab on the top left.
This will show you the specific posts and accounts your followers are engaging with. This is a great tool if you’re looking for new accounts to follow or to get ideas for the kind of content that most captivates your audience.

Got A Photo? Why Not Turn It Into 3!

This is a great new Instagram hack to make clean, sleek profile aesthetics. There are a couple of ways to do this:

First, #triplegram has been posted, as has been famous by Courtney Kardashian. Cortney regularly shares 3 related images regularly, so they take a full line on their profile.

Alternatively, you can cut a single image in 3, 6 or 9 different images. You will see this a lot on the profile of Reynolds Kitchen (@reynoldskitchens). It clearly takes a little more time and practice, but there is a great way to make your profile attractive.

Filter Comments On Your Posts

Whether you are dealing with a troll or abusive comments from another user, filtering comments is a great way to clean your post and make everything look better.

Here's how to filter the comments on your Instagram account:

Go to the Options screen on your profile. On iOS, the option button is marked by a gear. On Android, it is marked by 3 dots.
Select comment control.
Turn on options to hide offensive comments.
It will automatically hide comments that contain words or phrases that Instagram knows as an offensive.
